How long does the picnic experience last?
Most of our curated picnic packages include a 2-hour experience. We find this is the perfect amount of time to relax, savor your meal, and celebrate the moment. Additional time can be requested during the booking process if you wish to linger longer.
Where can picnics be set up?
We scout the most beautiful locations throughout Jersey City and surrounding New Jersey areas. Whether it's a scenic public park with skyline views or the privacy of your own backyard, we handle the logistics to ensure a stunning backdrop for your celebration.
How far in advance should I book?
To ensure availability and allow us time to meticulously prep your custom décor, we recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance. For weekends and holiday dates, earlier booking is highly encouraged as our calendar fills quickly.
What is included in the picnic setup?
Our signature setups include a low-profile handcrafted table, plush floor cushions, artisanal table styling, high-quality linen napkins, place settings, faux floral arrangements, and thoughtfully curated décor items directed by your chosen theme.
Do you provide food?
While we specialize in the design and setup, we focus on creating the atmosphere. We can coordinate with our local catering partners to provide grazing boards or curated meals, or you are welcome to bring your own favorite delights.
What happens if it rains?
In the event of inclement weather, we offer a one-time rescheduling of your booking or we can move the setup to a suitable indoor backup location provided by the client. We monitor the forecast closely to ensure your experience remains perfect.
Can I customize my picnic theme?
Absolutely. We pride ourselves on creating personalized moments. While we have curated aesthetic themes to choose from, we are always happy to discuss custom color palettes or specific floral details to match your unique vision.
Do you travel?
Yes, we serve the greater Jersey City area and surrounding New Jersey locations. Travel fees may apply for setups outside of our standard service radius, which will be discussed and calculated during your consultation.
What should we bring to our picnic?
Just yourselves and a camera to capture the memories! We provide everything else for the aesthetic and comfort. Depending on the weather, you might want a light jacket, but we ensure the setup is fully equipped for your relaxation.
Can children attend the picnic?
We welcome guests of all ages. Our picnics are designed to be family-friendly, and we can adjust the styling to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for children while maintaining our signature aesthetic and elegance.
Bloom Picnics Terms & Policies
1. Booking Policy
To secure your luxury picnic experience in New Jersey, a full payment or a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. Reservations are confirmed only upon receipt of payment and a signed agreement. We recommend booking at least 2-4 weeks in advance for weekend sessions.
2. Rescheduling Policy
We understand that circumstances change. Bloom Picnics allows for one complimentary reschedule if requested at least 72 hours prior to the event. Subject to availability, rescheduled dates must be within 6 months of the original booking. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.
3. No-Show Policy
If you fail to arrive at your designated picnic location without prior notification, the session will be considered forfeited. No refunds or reschedules will be granted for no-shows, as our team has invested significant time and resources in scouting and styling your artisanal experience.
4. Late Arrival Policy
Your Bloom experience begins promptly at the scheduled time. Arriving late will result in a shorter experience, as we must adhere to park permits and consecutive booking windows. Extensions are generally not possible due to our strict preparation and breakdown schedules for following clients.
5. Setup & Breakdown
Our experts handle the complete setup and breakdown of your artisanal scene. You are responsible for arrival and departure within the booked timeframe. Please do not leave the picnic setup unattended; if you wish to leave early, notify your onsite Bloom attendant via the provided contact number.
6. Equipment Care & Damage Policy
Guests are responsible for all luxury décor, linens, and furniture during the duration of the picnic. Any items that are damaged, stained, or missing at the end of the session will be subject to a replacement fee charged to the payment method on file to cover professional repair or artisanal replacement.
7. Teepee Tent Usage Policy
Our handcrafted teepee tents are designed for shade and visual ambiance. To preserve their quality, please refrain from hanging heavy objects on the framing and ensure children are supervised to prevent structural damage. Tents are sensitive to high winds and may be retracted for safety if necessary.
8. Tent Violation Fee
Any unauthorized activities involving open flames, smoking, or pets inside the luxury tents will incur an immediate $150 violation fee. These elements pose a significant risk to the delicate artisanal fabrics and professional-grade materials used in our curated picnic setups.
9. Location & Permits
Bloom Picnics operates within designated and permit-approved public parks throughout New Jersey. If you request a private residence setup, please ensure there is sufficient flat terrain (10x10ft) and access for our team. Public park permits are managed by Bloom and are included in the package cost.
10. Photography & Marketing
We take pride in our beautifully styled setups. By booking, you grant Bloom Picnics permission to use photography of the setup for promotional purposes on social media and our website. We prioritize client privacy and will never include your face without explicit verbal or written consent.
11. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is paramount to our artisanal service. We collect personal data solely for booking management and logistical coordination. We do not sell or share your contact information with third-party advertisers. All transaction data is handled through secure, encrypted payment processors.
12. Acceptance of Terms
